John Kerry Grovels Before Putin, Says He Doesn’t Want “Confrontation”

The crisis in Ukraine has brought to light the ultimate failures of the Obama administration’s foreign policies. It goes all the way back to the beginning of Obama’s administration, most notably the botching of the Benghazi attacks and their aftermath – which a congressional report has determined the White House was responsible for.
Most of the time we literally cannot understand Obama’s foreign policy decisions. It’s almost like he wants to make the worst ones possible. In fact, analysts have pointed out that Obama lives in a “fantasy world” on foreign policy. Disgusting.
And Obama’s incompetence regarding foreign policy is carried out in his Secretary of State, John Kerry, who has been completely unsuccessful in handling the Russia / Ukraine crisis. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised, considering the way he is also currently botching negotiations in Israel and Palestine. And although many analysts have reported that Russia invaded Ukraine because they knew that under Obama America would not have the stones to stand up to them, Kerry has announced that he and President Obama still will not “seek confrontation.”
The Washington Examiner reports:
Speaking to reporters in Kiev, Secretary of State John Kerry criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for moving military forces into Ukraine, but specifically said the U.S. was not seeking confrontation.
“President Obama and I want to make it clear to Russia and to everybody in the world that we are not seeking confrontation,” he said, reminding Russia that there was a better way to ensure their interests in Ukraine.
Russian officials, Kerry suggested, should take their concerns to the United Nations instead of invading Ukraine.

All we can do is hope that President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry don’t do something drastic that would make America look even weaker than it is right now. While we do hope that Russia will take their concerns to the UN, we don’t believe that’s Putin’s style. He’s going to continue to bully to get his way, and Obama’s empty threats won’t stop him.
